These are super, super cool. I haven't spent as much time on these doodle pages as I'd like to, but just wanted you to know that I really love what you're doing with this concept. It feels to me a little like what I'm trying to do with my visual poems, so I get all excited looking at these.

Thanks, Scriv! The remind me so much of what you're doing too. I'm enjoying creating them so much. It's quite therapeutic.

I created "I can" for a minimalist assignment on the Digital Photography School forums, and then the idea kept coming back to me.

I only had a half set of magnets, but did a couple more. Then I decided to take the plunge and order a bunch of magnet sets.

I envisioned finding locations and then creating words to match, but it has worked out just the opposite.

I play with the magnets and have two or three things working at a time. When I get on I like, I brainstorm and/or keep an eye out for a location that might enhance or contrast with the words, or just create really cool texture.

I love sifting and sorting for the phrases that evoke something for me and then creating images. In that way, it reminds me of what you do.

p.s. this one was taken on blue paper that I crumpled up and then almost flattened back out.
